The lovely Nicole from NicoleandGwendolyn made a special request yesterday about what I eat in a day.
So, here it is. It was a huge food day for me because hubby was home and he made supper.
The first thing I did was make coffee and drank 6 mugs in the morning. Then one mug in the afternoon and one after supper. Total: 8 large coffee mugs of deliciousness:
At this point it was sometime around lunchtime and I thought maybe I should eat something…so I cracked open a couple of blood oranges, which happens to be my favourite snack of all time!
I’m starting to get a bit tired and sluggish and glance at the time…3:00 in the afternoon! So, I grab a snack.
Hubby is up and about in the kitchen…must be suppertime. Let’s go see what he’s making!
This Actifry is great! 1 TBL of olive oil for a whole mess of french fries…non-greasy and crispy:) I will not eat any other kind of fries, if I eat fries at all, of course.
Here’s my plate, ready and waiting for me on the table.
That is 2 patties of lean ground beef, cooked on the BBQ, on one bun instead of the two hubby had prepared for me, regular French’s mustard, one slice of processed cheese, and a handful of fries. That is a ton of food!
And I almost ate it all. 2/3 of the burger and most of the fries. Now I feel stuffed and nauseous.
It’s now 10 pm and I really want to stay awake long enough to watch Cracked. A handful of sugary goodness should keep me awake another hour:)
And there you have it…a day of food for me.
Pretty typical nowadays.
I’m getting good at recognizing when I should eat and as long as hubby is around, I get a full supper.
Even if I have to force myself to consume as much as possible of the food on the plate.
Even if the feeling of fullness is unpleasant.
I try. I always try.
